long time no see/talk

yea so... schools started for about 2 and a half weeks.

my schedule:

M- 3 classes - ECON,UWS,STATS -12:00 -3:30
T - 1 class - Asian American experience - 1:40 - 3:00
W -3 classes - ECON,UWS,STATS -12:00 -3:30
T - 1 class - ECON - 12:00 - 1:00
F - 1 class - Asian American experience - 1:40 - 3:00

Ive skipped a lot of classes already... which is really bad but seriously idunno if it was the HTS education or just me overestimating university classes. ECON is a joke, ive learnt the same thing twice before at syracuse and HTS. Stats is easier than data management and so during class there is zero motivation to learn and to listen. I've done all the econ homework without reading the book and still scored near perfect every time.... Same with stats.

I know skipping class is a bad habit.... gotta change that for when classes get hard.

University life is pretty chill here at Brandeis. Frats are banned so they're a 20 minute walk so they're basically dead. speaking of frat parties. i forgot to take pictures last time (sry kevin).

Brief explanation: walk 20 minutes east in the residential neighborhood, see a random house, walk to the backyard where everyone is taking smoke breaks. then proceed down a narrow entrance into the basement of the house which is literally 2-3 feet wide and about 6 feet tall. The basement itself is covered with ashpalt, not even tile/hardwood/cement. unfinished drinks litter the floor and water pipes populate the already low cieling. christmas lights are used to lighting and in the burning hot room, there is a makeshift dancefloor, a bar, a lounge with a tv and a beerpong table.

Thats frat night life for me -.-"

People here.... are really kind of awkward for the most part. almost everyone plays a musical instrument so free concerts every night... Kind of gets irritating especially when your roomate plays the violin 24/7 and is mad good so the notes pierce your ears. the asian population is really small. only about 5 people from hong kong and speak cantonese.. theres about a couple dozen people from china and speak mandarin so its hard to communicate with them since my mandarin is not decent enough. theres also a couple dozen koreans and its also hard to communicate with them cause they all speak korean to each other but they're really chill. CSA and KSA are really cool, very welcoming upperclassmen and they actually care about freshmen as opposed to just living in thier "upperclass" lives.

Thats about it for me....
