Hey guys! i hope every1 is having an amazing time at their respective universities cuz i kno that i deffs am! (well cept for melvin cuz he's still kickin it back at home lol, but soon)
My move-in was extremely efficient. Wen the car was lining up to to drop off my stuff, a Soph by the name of "Mr. Garrison" pulled me from the car and dragged me into Perth where i got my room keys and my frosh kit (which includes an awesome horn :) thats great for situation where Perth needs to be loud). By the time i reached my room, most of my boxes and luggages were already there waiting for me. I also found out regretfully that DTrain was not my roomie as he was on the floor below :(. So all in all, i've met some amazing ppl so far on my floor

All i really have to say is Western's frosh week is AMAZING!!! so much has happened already and its only the 3rd day! the Sophs (ppl who lead us around and organize events for us) r insane! they avg. about 3 hours of sleep per night and these past 2 mornings, they hav woken us up at 8AM with their obnoxious knocking and banging and they won't stop until we actually open the door. ughh soo annoying! but i guess it adds to the expereince haha...well not really...
The first thing we learned at initiation was simply "ERTW" (ERTW was also written everywhere around campus on the sidewalks. about every 10 steps or so u can probz see another one). this basically stands for "Engineers Rule the World."
So right off the bat on the first day during move-in, my engineering soph "McHurry" (yes i kno, siik name rite?) tells me to call this number to begin my "mission" or our "eng. initiation." All the while he has this huge grin on his face like he knows that i'm about to get myself into something crazy. and u know what? it was friggin awesome!! i hav actually never felt so scared in my entire life, but every1 around me was scared too 'cept wen we found out one of the eng. guys holding a sledgehammer was known as "Sweet Cheeks." So we had to crawl through a maze in the dark while the eng. sophs were screaming and swearing at us. fun, i kno! the maze was sooo long! took us a good half hour to get through it. after, we got our eng. names, mine being "frugala" lol. apparently its some eng. inside joke but no1 will really tell me wat it means but i htink i'll find out tmw during my faculty orientation tmw. kinda excited and scared at the same time!
At the end of the initiation we had to take an oath. i'm not gonna write the entire thing down cuz i don't rmb it all lol. but this is the basic message : Screw the f***ing hell out of everything that isn't eng. related. LMAO siik msg eh? i thought so too.
Eng for life!
