So I moved in today into my hall, called Whispering Wood, which is in the housing community, called Middle Earth (yea this community is named after LotR people, places, etc), and in my opinion, things went pretty smoothly.
Lots of people were moving in, as was expected, but the biggest problem is that my roommate and I got the smallest room in our wing. Its not that much smaller, but in dorms, any extra space is valuable space. So we spent about 2 hours trying to rearrange my room to make it "perfect" and I think we achieved our goal. My room has a total of 8 pieces of furniture: two tables, two chairs, two dressers, and two beds. Its on the third floor of a three-story building. Thats not as high as your residences but I can imagine that I might get annoyed at having to go up 4 flights of stairs to get to my floor. That plus the fact that our residences do not have air conditioning and have lots of windows and sunroofs make the buildings extremely hot. Even with all the windows open.
Boy was unpacking all my stuff energy-draining. I spent so long at home (my home in toronto, that is) packing all my stuff nice and neatly into my suitcases while trying to make sure that my things wouldnt break from being tossed around in the plane ride, and then I arrive here and my luggages were just like an endless stream of ...well....my stuff. How did I ever manage to fit all that stuff into a few suitcases? And now I have to fit that stuff into my tiny room. Sigh. Anyways, I gave up on unpacking shortly after and went out on a shopping spree to Best Buy, Costco, and Target, went back to my room to drop off my new purchases, had dinner, and now im here.
I decided to spend the night back in the hotel with my family, as no one else on my floor moved in yet and thus feels really empty. Ill try to post some pictures in here once I get back to my room tomorrow or the day after. As for now, I think I should head to bed. Buenas noches señoras y señores.

lol yea its suppose to be Buenos noches señores if u wanna be politically correct
Third floor is nothing! I am on the first floor. If there was a fire, I could hop out the window and not even damage the knees. I can also eavesdrop on people's conversations outside as they play frisbee but not in a creepy way, haha.
